Red Mt. Tried looking for the tooth. Had no clue.

Last night in clean comfort. I found out from heather that she wouldn't be able to meet up which made my decision easier and I could just go. The smoke was coming into snoqualmie already. I tried to catch up on ALL my blogs early in the morn. Oh man it was painful uploading SO many entries that I was behind on. It's really painful to be that far behind. I had no energy to really write about the last few days. We went to breakfast w the fam and was so stuffed. I took one last shower and started packing up. As always, so hard to leave the ppl you care about. I already miss them. Cc comes down to my room every morning to see me w a huge smile. It's so sweet.

Around 11, Anton took me and c back to the pass to drop me off. My pack was heavy w tons of food. I feel like I'm def carrying way too much right now. The hike out was a v long hill up to the Kendall catwalk. I have heard so much about this but never been which ended up being v unimpressive. Since it was a Sunday, a ton of day hikers and overnighters passed. Pretty congested until the lake. I ran into elise and diaper boy. And hiked a bit w Payless. So cool to see more ppl I know who were behind me that are catching up. We all took a lunch at ridge lake. The boys were pushing seven more miles to the pond but I was hoping for the campsite halfway up the second hill. Today has so many steep climbs. I can't even imagine the rest of this section!! It's really hot too. We could see the jolly mountain fire in the distance towards the east. So crazy.

I got to the site I wanted and thankfully it was free! But I haven't camped alone in awhile. Sometimes it's nice but I think I prefer camp w ppl now. It's a really pretty spot though! All open w views of rainy and Alta. It's a bit breezy w a few gusts. I ate my leftover fried rice I packed out so I didn't have to cook tonight since I dry camped. I'm gonna try to do 24 to the river tom. I think I can do it. I'm almost hoping all my boxes get there before me since it's a holiday on Monday and it won't get out till tues.
