Didn't sleep too well last night. I was tossing and turning. My neck was aching. I think I'm ready for a bed or something. I started off around 6a. Tons of cobwebs to walk through. I passed the large creek at the bottom where tons of hikers were all camped up. I guess this is the part two herd. One of them was ying and said hi. Then I was off. Today's forest started to look like the hoh rainforest. It was cool bc it reminded me of something so familiar. I filled up at panther creek before the climb. So far, I've been dry camping each night and I pack an extra liter for cooking. It's worked well.
I spent the rest of the afternoon on the climb. Still super hot going uphill. I stopped at a nice breezy spot for lunch until this giant group came along. I really dislike the sound of chatter so I got up and finished the hill. I decided to camp just before the top and it was this super nice open spot w a view of hood. Even have a little bit of service. So I have two full days left and I'm starting to ration my food already. It's such a scary feeling. I think I have just enough until sat morn but I must not overeat. Maybe the climbs have made me more hungry. I've gotta pack out more this next section or just do bigger days. I think I'm ready for 18-20 until Canada. This section was so slow since I can't get to trout lake till sat but it's nice to stop early. It's only 541pm and I'm already in bed! At least I look fwd to my dinner each night. I think need to pack a bigger lunch to keep me full in the afternoon.
