I stayed up way too late last night and when your body clock is 4-5am, it's rough. This bed is so nice though. Doug made us a hearty breakfast in the morning! So good. We then spent the rest of the morning and afternoon organizing food. It took forever. I also found out that my shelter cove box was accidentally sent via usps so I had to redo another box. It's good I caught it now while I'm in a town with a good grocer to ship ahead. Doug let us take the car and we did one last round of dreadful errands. It was back to the Safeway for more food, ups and po.
We were finally done and my brain was hurting so bad. I told gb that maybe we should stay another night with the hansons and just do a full day in the morning. If we headed out in the evening, it would be so hot and we would only do a few miles. I just didn't feel rested. He agreed and we talked to Doug and Lori about it at the house and what their schedule was like. They were cool with it all so we stayed!! We were so happy w that decision. We ended up dipping in the pool and chilling for the evening. Lori made us pizza and we had some good chats with her over dinner. She's such a great mom and knows the way to our bellies. She always has food set out for us when we start feeling hungry haha. It's like magic.
I took my last shower and got ready for bed. Doug came home from his concert and we chatted a bit. I am so very grateful for the hansons. They have been so good to us. And they all remind me of Chris so much. He has such a great family and dynamic. They have such a cool history and story. It was also so nice to just be surrounded by people who love the lord. It's been a verrrry long time. It's encouraging.
